Currently, La Bestia Elite has teams competing in the following age groups: 2015, 2016, 2017.

La Bestia Elite does not host official tryouts.  If your child is interested in joining a La Bestia Elite travel team int the fall, we will have open practice sessions during the month of April/May where your child can come practice with our team.  Please reach out to labestiaelite@gmail.com to learn more about our practice dates, times, and locations.

Travel soccer begins with the Fall season and ends in the Spring season. When you commit to a travel team you are committing to both the Fall & Spring seasons.

Ex. Official Fall training will begin in August, and games will take place from September to early November.  Spring season training will officially begin in March, and games will take place from April to early June.

La Bestia Elite specializes in offering year-round soccer/futsal training!  Although off-season training is not a required part of the travel team, it is highly recommended. In the winter we offer indoor futsal training, and the option to compete in Futsal Leagues & Tournaments. In the summer, we offer outdoor training sessions that are easily scheduled from week to week when you are in town!  Additionally, our off-season training is open to athletes from other clubs; giving your child the continuous opportunity of gaining experience by training with new players from other teams.

La Bestia Elite is owned & lead by Coach Alcides Montiel. While working for teams like PWSI, Alexandria Soccer Association, and Villareal in the past, Montiel found that he preferred a “small team” approach.  By keeping teams small, kids get more playing time!  At this age, we feel the most important thing is for your child to get as much playing time as possible!   Ex. where most large clubs will have a U9/U10 team with 14 players, La Bestia Elite typically has 10/11 players, leading to more time on the field!

In addition to prioritizing playing time, La Bestia Elite stands out in terms of affordability. While youth travel soccer costs are on the rise, we maintain a lower price point per season. Our focus is on providing access to exceptional coaches and a conducive environment without the overhead expenses associated with larger clubs. Thanks to a partnership with Doradus F.C., La Bestia Elite also enjoys access to excellent playing fields in the surrounding area. Tournaments!  La Bestia Elite loves to participate in tournaments with select teams. Our top teams typically participate in 6+ tournaments per year. Additionally, we will never hold your player card captive! If one of our players gets asked to guest play in a tournament with another team, we are more than happy to help that happen when we don’t have a tournament scheduled.

Costs can vary slight from year to year. The cost of a full travel season (Fall & Spring) with La Bestia Elite averages around $1,800 (Payments can be broken into installments, see below for more details). This includes two-three days of training per week, and approximately 8 games per season with the National Capital Soccer League (NCSL).  Please note, this does not include any tournaments your child is invited to; tournaments typically range from $100-$135. Lastly, we do require our players to purchase a training uniform kit (Avg. $120 includes 2 training shirts, 2 shorts, 2 socks) & a travel uniform kit (Avg. $160+ includes 2 travel jerseys, 2 travel shorts, 2 socks, water bottle, backpack)

La Bestia Elite takes select teams to participate in different tournaments from year to year to give our kids fun travel experiences and exposure to different styles of teams. In the past we have participated in the following tournaments:

• Local Tournaments: PWSI Ice Breaker, Copa Talento, Nation’s Capital Cup, Virginia State Futsal Championships, Capital Futsal Cup, ASK Tournament, Heritage Cup, Loudoun Premier Cup, 3v3 Live, NVSC Battlefield
• Out of State Tournaments: Disney President’s Day Cup Florida, Ford Copita Alianza in New York, Southampton Tournament in Maryland
